100% Cotton Poplin Fabric Egyptian Pharaoh Hieroglyphics Ancient Egypt 112cm Wide

This Egyptian inspired cotton poplin fabric features a striking all-over design of ancient pharaoh figures, Egyptian queens, traditional headdresses, hieroglyphics and palm motifs set against a parchment-style background. The rich tones of gold, teal, red and deep blue create a bold historical aesthetic inspired by Ancient Egypt.

Detailed artwork includes standing pharaohs, seated figures, symbolic elements and hieroglyphic script, giving the fabric a distinctive museum-style, archaeological feel. The structured repeat makes it ideal for statement garments and themed projects.

Made from 100% cotton poplin (approx. 130gsm), this fabric has a smooth surface with a soft yet crisp handle. It is breathable, easy to cut and simple to sew, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.

  • Pre-wash before cutting to minimise shrinkage.

  • Manufacturer recommends: 40°C machine wash, medium tumble dry.

  • Always test a small piece first before washing.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
