100% Cotton Poplin Fabric Egyptian Winged Goddess Hieroglyphics 112cm Wide

This striking Ancient Egyptian cotton poplin fabric features a bold repeating design of winged goddesses, decorative columns, sacred birds, palm motifs and detailed hieroglyphics. Rich tones of gold, teal, burnt orange and deep blue stand out beautifully against a parchment-style background for a strong historical aesthetic.

The symmetrical layout gives the design a structured, mural-like appearance reminiscent of traditional Egyptian wall art and temple carvings. The winged figures, stylised florals and symbolic detailing create a dramatic and eye-catching print.

Made from 100% cotton poplin (approx. 130gsm), this fabric has a smooth surface with a soft yet crisp handle. It is breathable, easy to sew and presses well, making it suitable for a wide range of creative projects.

How To Use & Hints and Tips:

  • Pre-wash before cutting to minimise shrinkage.

  • Perfect for themed garments and costume projects.

  • Pair with plain gold, navy, sand or black cottons for contrast.

  • Manufacturer recommends: 40°C machine wash, medium tumble dry.

  • Always test a small piece first before washing.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
