Sorcery from the Dragon Kingdom collection by Whistler Studios for Windham Fabrics captures the elemental magic of fire and water in a dramatic swirling design. The print features flowing, flame-like shapes that twist and move across the fabric, creating a sense of energy and motion reminiscent of magical spells or elemental power.

The design works beautifully as a dramatic coordinate within the Dragon Kingdom range, echoing the mythical themes of dragons and magic while also standing strongly on its own for bold sewing projects.

This design is available in two colourways. Fire features glowing reds, oranges and golden flames that evoke heat and dragon fire, while Water presents cool swirling tones of blue, teal and deep ocean shades for a mysterious aquatic feel.

Printed on 100% cotton quilting fabric, this high-quality material is breathable, smooth and easy to sew, making it ideal for quilting, patchwork, dressmaking and creative craft projects.

Washing Instructions:

  • Cold gentle machine wash (wash dark colours separately)

  • Drycleanable

Cutting & Ordering Information:

Our fabrics are sold by the half metre (50cm x full fabric width). If you order more than one unit, your fabric will be supplied in a continuous length, unless you request otherwise.

Examples:
  • If you order 1 unit, you will receive 0.5 metres x fabric width.
  • If you order 2 units, you will receive 1 metre x fabric width.
  • If you order 4 units, you will receive 2 metres x fabric width.

We always cut fabric as a single continuous piece (e.g., 2.5m, 3m, etc.), unless you specifically ask for it to be cut into smaller pieces. Please contact us at checkout if you’d like separate cuts.

How To Use & Hints and Tips

  • Pre-wash before sewing to allow for natural cotton shrinkage.

  • Ideal for quilts, fantasy themed sewing projects and dramatic fabric accents.

  • Pairs well with plains in black, navy, red, orange or teal tones.

  • Use a universal 80/12 needle for clean stitching.

  • Suitable for quilts, dresses, bags, cushions and craft projects.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces. 

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
