Stardust from the Dragon Kingdom collection by Whistler Studios for Windham Fabrics features a magical night sky filled with scattered stars and crescent moons. The design captures the feel of a deep celestial sky, with shimmering golden stars and delicate white constellations spread across a softly textured cosmic background.

The print works beautifully as a coordinate within the Dragon Kingdom range, complementing the dragon designs while also standing perfectly on its own for starry themed sewing projects.

This design is available in two colourways. Midnight offers a rich, deep navy sky for a dramatic night-time look, while Sky presents a lighter blue cosmic background that gives the design a softer and brighter appearance.

Printed on 100% cotton quilting fabric, this high-quality material is breathable, smooth and easy to sew, making it ideal for quilting, patchwork, dressmaking and creative craft projects.

Washing Instructions:

  • Cold gentle machine wash (wash dark colours separately)

  • Drycleanable

  • Do not soak or bleach

  • Do not dry in direct sunlight

  • Hang garments inside out to dry

  • Cool iron on reverse side

Cutting & Ordering Information:

Our fabrics are sold by the half metre (50cm x full fabric width). If you order more than one unit, your fabric will be supplied in a continuous length, unless you request otherwise.

Examples:
  • If you order 1 unit, you will receive 0.5 metres x fabric width.
  • If you order 2 units, you will receive 1 metre x fabric width.
  • If you order 4 units, you will receive 2 metres x fabric width.

We always cut fabric as a single continuous piece (e.g., 2.5m, 3m, etc.), unless you specifically ask for it to be cut into smaller pieces. Please contact us at checkout if you’d like separate cuts.

How To Use & Hints and Tips

  • Pre-wash before sewing to allow for natural cotton shrinkage.

  • Ideal for quilts, celestial themed sewing projects and coordinating quilt backgrounds.

  • Pairs well with plains in navy, deep blue, silver, white or gold tones.

  • Use a universal 80/12 needle for clean stitching.

  • Suitable for quilts, dresses, bags, cushions and craft projects.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces. 

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
