Tea Towel is a pretty vintage inspired floral cotton fabric from the Farmhouse Fancy collection by Poppie Cotton, designed by Elea Lutz. Featuring scattered blossoms set over a soft grid style background, this design is reminiscent of classic kitchen linens and traditional farmhouse tea towels.

Printed on premium quality 100% cotton, Tea Towel is soft, versatile and easy to sew, making it perfect for quilting, patchwork, dressmaking and home décor projects. Available in four charming colourways Teal, Pink, Multi and Yellow, this fabric works beautifully as a blender or coordinate alongside the other prints in the Farmhouse Fancy range.

Washing Instructions:

  • Cold gentle machine wash (wash dark colours separately)

  • Drycleanable

  • Do not soak or bleach

  • Do not dry in direct sunlight

  • Hang garments inside out to dry

  • Cool iron on reverse side

Cutting & Ordering Information:

Our fabrics are sold by the half metre (50cm x full fabric width). If you order more than one unit, your fabric will be supplied in a continuous length, unless you request otherwise.

Examples:
  • If you order 1 unit, you will receive 0.5 metres x fabric width.
  • If you order 2 units, you will receive 1 metre x fabric width.
  • If you order 4 units, you will receive 2 metres x fabric width.

We always cut fabric as a single continuous piece (e.g., 2.5m, 3m, etc.), unless you specifically ask for it to be cut into smaller pieces. Please contact us at checkout if you’d like separate cuts.

How To Use & Hints and Tips:

  • Ideal for quilting, patchwork, table linens, clothing and accessories

  • Pre wash before sewing to minimise shrinkage

  • Small scale print is great for piecing, binding and sashing

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces. 

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
