Hints & Tips for Working with Gingham Fabric

🧵 Cutting & Pattern Matching:

• Align the 9mm checks carefully when cutting for a seamless finish.
• Use sharp fabric scissors or a rotary cutter for clean edges.

🪡 Sewing Recommendations:

• A universal needle (size 80/12) is best for smooth stitching.
• To prevent stretching, use a straight stitch with medium tension.

🌀 Washing & Care Instructions:

• Machine wash at 30°C for colour longevity.
• Medium iron setting to maintain a crisp appearance.
• Dry cleanable, but avoid bleach to preserve fabric integrity.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
