Our Luxury Weight Wool Effect Tartan Fabric in the Isles design is a beautifully substantial furnishing fabric with a classic tartan look and a soft wool-style handle. Woven to a heavyweight 380gsm, it offers excellent durability while still giving a warm, inviting finish that works wonderfully in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

With a composition of 22.5% cotton and 77.5% polyester, this fabric combines the comfort and texture of natural fibres with the resilience and practicality of polyester. The 140cm width makes it suitable for a wide range of interior projects, while the 33cm vertical pattern repeat helps when planning curtains, cushions and upholstery pieces.

How To Use & Hints and Tips
This fabric is ideal for upholstery projects such as chairs, stools, benches and headboards, as well as soft furnishing makes including cushions, curtains and Roman blinds. The tartan design also makes it a great choice for seasonal décor and country-style interiors.

When cutting, allow for the 33cm vertical repeat so the pattern matches neatly across panels and cushions. For upholstery, always check you have enough fabric to line up the tartan correctly before cutting. Pair with plain fabrics, velvet or faux leather for a rich, layered look. As this fabric is dry clean only, it is best suited to projects where specialist care is practical.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
