🧵 Cotton 4.5 Wale Washed Corduroy – 100% Cotton

Add warmth, texture, and timeless style to your sewing projects with our premium 4.5 Wale Washed Corduroy. Made from 100% cotton, this durable yet soft fabric offers a luxurious feel and a beautifully rich finish, making it perfect for garments, home decor, bags, and even soft toys. With a classic cord pattern and vibrant colours to choose from, it’s a staple fabric for autumn/winter creations.

Washing Instructions:

  • Machine wash at 30°C

  • Do not bleach

  • Iron on medium heat

  • Dry cleanable

  • Tumble dry on low heat

  • Always test a small piece before full wash

Hints & Tips:

  • Use a walking foot for smoother stitching on cord ridges

  • Pin or clip carefully to avoid visible holes

  • Pre-wash fabric to allow for natural shrinkage

  • Cut in the same pile direction for consistent colour and texture

  • Combine with contrast linings or flat cottons for added detail

 Available In The Following Sizes :

Metre 100cm x 142cm

Half Metre 50cm x 142cm

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
