Our high-quality Cotton Bump Interlining is a premium heavyweight natural interlining designed to add structure, padding and stability to your sewing and craft projects.

With a substantial weight of 410gsm, this cotton-rich bump interlining provides excellent loft and durability, making it perfect for projects that require added body and cushioning. The 140cm width makes it suitable for larger projects while reducing joins and fabric waste.

Made from 82% cotton and 18% mixed natural fibres, this interlining offers a natural feel and breathable structure, ideal for quilting, bag making, upholstery, pelmets, curtain headings and craft projects where added firmness is required.

Available in natural and supplied in lengths up to 40 metre rolls,this versatile bump interlining is a must-have staple for serious sewists and upholstery makers.

Purpose: Adds volume, warmth, sound protection, and a professional "plump" look to curtains.

Placement: Sandwiched between the main fabric and the regular lining.

Texture & Feel: Thick, felt-like, brushed surface, similar to flannelette.

How To Use & Hints and Tips

Use between fabric layers to add structure and padding.
Ideal for quilted projects where extra loft is desired.
Perfect for bag bases and structured craft items.
For upholstery projects, secure in place with temporary spray adhesive before sewing.
Always test on a small sample before starting your main project.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
