This 100% cotton washed denim fabric is a customer favorite, available in four stunning shades. With its soft, pre-washed texture, it is incredibly malleable and easy to sew, making it ideal for both fashion and home projects.

Produced using a unique large-washer bleaching process, this denim has a naturally worn look that varies slightly from batch to batch, adding to its charm. It is a medium-weight (8oz) fabric, perfect for shirts, skirts, dresses, aprons, tote bags, and even home décor like cushion covers and upholstery accents.

Hints & Tips for Working with Denim Fabric

🧵 Sewing Recommendations:

  • Use a denim needle (size 90/14 or 100/16) for best results.
  • Heavy-duty thread works best for durability.
  • Consider using French seams for a professional finish.

🌀 Washing & Care Instructions:

  • Pre-washed to minimize shrinkage.
  • Wash separately for the first few times to prevent dye transfer.
  • 30°C machine wash, cool tumble dry, do not bleach.
  • Turn garments inside out when washing to reduce fading.

⚠ Important Notes:

  • Denim dye may transfer onto lighter fabrics and upholstery.
  • Avoid storing under bright lights or in direct sunlight as denim will fade over time.
  • Before wearing, wash clothes made from this fabric several times in cold water to remove excess dye.
