Leatherlook Matt FR PVC C5577 is a fantastic quality heavyweight upholstery fabric with a classic matt leather-look finish. Made with a PVC face and polyester backing, this durable fabric is designed for projects that need both style and practicality. Its fire retardant properties make it a great choice for upholstery, furnishings, seating, display work, and commercial or domestic interiors where a hard-wearing faux leather is needed.
This fabric has a substantial 700gsm weight, giving it a premium feel and excellent durability. The wipe-clean surface makes it especially suitable for busy environments, while the woven backing helps provide added strength and stability.

How To Use & Hints and tips
This leatherlook matt FR PVC is ideal for upholstery projects such as seat covers, dining chair pads, stools, bar seating, booth seating, headboards, wall panels, and caravan or campervan interiors. It can also be used for display backdrops, protective covers, and other furnishing applications.
For best results, use clips rather than pins where possible to avoid leaving marks. A walking foot or leather needle may help when sewing thicker layers. Always test your stitch settings on a spare piece before starting your project. Wipe clean only to keep the surface looking its best. Where fire retardancy is required for a specific end use, always ensure the finished item meets the relevant application standards.
