Kingsdown Road from John Louden’s Digital Viscose Prints collection offers a stunning floral design inspired by the look of oil painting. Available in two beautiful colourways—Blue and Brown—this fabric replicates the appearance of textured brushstrokes, giving the design a rich, artistic quality. The vibrant, stylised flowers are printed with digital precision, resulting in a beautifully dynamic fabric that looks like a piece of art, yet is soft and smooth to the touch.

Made from 100% woven viscose, Kingsdown Road is lightweight with a lovely drape, perfect for creating flowing garments that move beautifully. The oil painting-inspired digital print, while visually textured, provides a sophisticated aesthetic without any actual raised texture. It’s ideal for dresses, blouses, skirts, and more, adding an artistic touch to your handmade wardrobe.

This fabric is available in the following sizes:
Metre 100cm x 147cm
Half Metre 50cm x 147cm
Fat Quarter 50cm x 70cm

Washing Instructions:
The manufacturer says: 30-degree machine wash on a gentle cycle.
Cool, gentle tumble-dry or hang to dry. We strongly recommend testing a small piece first to be sure.

Please note – All viscose fabrics shrink by 5-8% when washed.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
