Polyester Wadding Fire Retardant 60" Quilting

150cm Wide 60"

Polyester Wadding will not shrink and is well suited to projects that will be washed regularly.

Below is a rough thickness guide, but bear in mind that wadding is measured in weight, and not thickness

Thickness Guide: 
2oz (70gsm) - 6 - 9mm 
4oz (135gsm) - 12 - 16mm 
6oz (205gsm) - 18 - 25mm 
8oz (270gsm) - 25 - 32mm 

FIRE RETARDANT SAFETY CERTIFIED - British Standard BS5852

Machine washable at 30 degrees

Hypo-Allergenic

Also known as Dacron®, Kodel, Fiberfill, Poly-Fil®, Hollofil®, Poly Wrap 

Please note that if more than one piece of wadding is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.

Been using these for several years the fleece is good quality as always, In the last 3 weeks alone i have purchased 31 meters of this plus other stuff but this time they let me down big style Unprecidentes sales left me in urgent need for more fabric and for the first time ever i asked if they could process the order straight away Bearing in mind the amount i have purchased would it realy of hurt them to do just that, No 3 days knowing i was desperat for the fabric I had to do a 40 mile round trip to get some from a shop because i wont let my customers down This says a lot about the principles of this business

Exactly what I wanted
I am re-doing my bedroom, completely. As part of this, I am constructing a new headboard with integrated lighting and storage units but am reusing all the materials from my existing, factory made headboard, apart from the covers. When I stripped the old headboard down, I found that apart from the foam, there was no additional padding and I wanted a slightly more luxurious look. I ordered this wadding to cover the edges and areas of the front panels that had no foam. The quilting arrived in good time and is just what I need at a very good price.
