This Dark Grey Bird Jacquard Stretch Knit Fabric is a medium weight, textured knit featuring a repeating bird motif across the surface. The jacquard construction creates a raised pattern, giving the fabric visual depth and a more structured feel than a standard jersey.

The cotton-rich blend offers comfort and breathability, while polyester and viscose add durability and a smooth handle. The inclusion of elastane provides gentle stretch, making the fabric suitable for garments that require both structure and ease of movement.

Ideal for dressmaking projects where texture and pattern are key, this fabric works well for statement garments and structured knit designs.

How To Use & Hints and Tips:

  • Suitable for dresses, skirts, tops and structured knit garments

  • Use a ballpoint or stretch needle

  • A walking foot may help with thicker seams

  • Recommended wash at 40°C

  • Pre-wash before cutting

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
