Crushed Velour Velvet Fabric

Velour is a luscious soft, knitted fabric.

Naturally stretchy with a regal appearance it is ideal for clothing (especially costumes) and craft projects.

COMPOSITION: 100% POLYESTER

WEIGHT (GSM) 151

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: MANUFACTURER SAYS: COLD HAND OR MACHINE WASH. COOL, GENTLE TUMBLE-DRY.WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TESTING A SMALL PIECE FIRST TO BE SURE.

Available in two Lengths

1/2 Metre 50cm x 150cm

Metre 100cm x 150cm

 

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.

Outstanding value!
I only wanted a few small pieces of crushed velvet to experiment with making Christmas baubles. Obviously, bring a crafter, I wanted value for money. Oh Sew Crafty were by far the best price ( and choice of colours) that I could find. Although I finished up buying more than I needed I still felt that I was getting great value for money. Slightly damaged
The fabric was a really good price but unfortunately the selvedge edges where uneven with e few holes along the length and thevwidth varied along the length. For the project I had this was not too much of a problem but this may not be the case for everyone.

This fabric was exactly what I was looking for to create some dance bikinis; it's a nice quality, easy enough to work with (I'm a total beginner) and has a really gorgeous depth to the colour. I've managed to get 2 full bikinis from each meter so, cost-wise, I'm impressed with that too. I have no doubt that I'll be back for another colour soon!
