Is Linen and Viscose a good blend?
Linen has longer fibers than cotton, which makes it slightly thicker and stronger (meaning better longevity!) but, by blending it with a man-made fabric such as polyester or viscose your fabric will be softer to the touch and much less prone to creasing
Is Linen Viscose good for upholstery?
Based on historic incidences of poor quality viscose yarns, there is a common misconception that viscose is not appropriate for upholstery application. Despite this reputation, viscose is an extremely popular upholstery fibre due to its unrivalled soft, luxurious handle and subtle sheen.
Is Linen Viscose stretchy?
As this fabric is woven, rather than knitted, it only has minimal stretch. The breathability of linen paired with the beautiful drape of viscose makes this fabric suitable for a range of projects including dresses, trousers, tops and more.
What does Oeko-Tex Standard 100 mean?
If a textiles article carries the STANDARD 100 label, this means that every single element of this article has been independently tested for harmful substances, has met Oeko-Tex's extensive criteria, and been found to be 100% safe. And we mean every. single. element.
Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces.
While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
