Our Ponte Roma knit fabric has 5% spandex which adds slight stretchability and extra comfort.
It is a very comfortable and durable type of fabric with many applications and is exceptionally popular in clothing just now.

Available in two lengths
Half metre 50cm x 150cm
Metre 100cm x 150cm


A versatile, soft knit fabric, similar to jersey but with a gentler drape, meaning this fabric
will not cling as much on fitted garments. This is a stable fabric and ideal for a wide variety
of clothing. It is also double faced so it can be used for reversible items.
  • WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: MANUFACTURER SAYS: 40 DEGREE MACHINE WASH. WARM TUMBLE-DRY.
    WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TESTING A SMALL PIECE FIRST TO BE SURE.

Please note if multiple quantities are ordered the fabric will be cut
as one continuous length

I've rated this fabric 5/5. I bought this ponte roma because it had an additional viscose content with the polyester and the spandex. I was hoping that the viscose would add a heaviness and drape that would make for a warm winter dress that would hang nicely without clinging, and would wash well. I'm very impressed with it now that it has arrived, and am sure it will behave just as I was hoping.
