Texture from the Flora & Form collection by Essoldo Design for Windham Fabrics is a soft, painterly design featuring layered tonal washes with scattered metallic flecks.

The background has a fluid, watercolour-like appearance, creating depth and movement across the fabric, while the metallic speckling adds a subtle highlight that catches the light without being overpowering.

Available in Onyx, Sage, Quartz, and Lapis, each colourway offers a different mood — from deep and dramatic to light and airy — making it an easy coordinate across the wider collection or a standalone blender.

Printed on 100% cotton with embellished metallic accents, this fabric is both practical and visually refined, ideal for quilting, dressmaking, and craft projects.

Washing Instructions:

  • Cold gentle machine wash (wash dark colours separately)

  • Drycleanable

  • Do not soak or bleach

  • Do not dry in direct sunlight

  • Hang garments inside out to dry

  • Cool iron on reverse side

Cutting & Ordering Information:

Our fabrics are sold by the half metre (50cm x full fabric width). If you order more than one unit, your fabric will be supplied in a continuous length, unless you request otherwise.

Examples:
  • If you order 1 unit, you will receive 0.5 metres x fabric width.
  • If you order 2 units, you will receive 1 metre x fabric width.
  • If you order 4 units, you will receive 2 metres x fabric width.

We always cut fabric as a single continuous piece (e.g., 2.5m, 3m, etc.), unless you specifically ask for it to be cut into smaller pieces. Please contact us at checkout if you’d like separate cuts.

How To Use & Hints and Tips

  • Pre-wash before sewing to allow for shrinkage.
  • Ideal as a blender fabric for quilting projects.
  • Pairs well with both bold and subtle prints.
  • Use a universal 80/12 needle for best results.
  • Wash on a gentle cycle to preserve metallic detailing.

Please note that if more than one piece of fabric is ordered it will come as one continuous piece as it is cut from the roll, however the rolls do have a maximum length therefore larger orders may be sent in multiple pieces. 

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in our images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.
