Children’s hands

I have bought this fabric in the past, so knew what it would be like. It is 100% cotton made in UK. It isn’t a very close weave, like poplin, so it is beautiful & soft. This time, I have bought it to line an ecclesiastical chasuble (the garment that a priest wears that looks like a big circle). Our curate took an old white sheet into Sunday School & got the children to paint all the things they wanted to say to their Mums on Mothering Sunday. She then gave it to me to ‘do something with’! 🤣. Some of the children did put their handprints on the sheet so I thought this lining would give to garment some body & reflect some of the joy that the children’s artwork will bring when this garment is worn next Mothering Sunday.

Loving the Rose and Hubble floral prints

Rose and Hubble cotton is perfect for little Summer dresses. Lovely bright colours and soft feel.

14oz wadding

Fantastic quality though the box it came in smelt bad. Fine after an air outside. Delivery was amazingly fast! Couldn’t have asked for better!
