With the KnitPro Natural Wool Winder, preparing loose yarn for knitting or crochet has never been easier. Whether you have bulk yarn that needs winding or leftover yarn from previous projects, this wool winder quickly and efficiently transforms it into neat yarn skeins.
Handcrafted from natural birch wood, this durable winder showcases the bright, warm colors of the wood for a beautiful and functional tool. The winder can hold up to 450 grams of yarn at a time on its spindle. Rubber tread pads on the base prevent slipping and protect your table from scratches.
Perfect for beginners and experienced yarn enthusiasts alike, the wool winder clamps securely to any table or counter edge up to 45mm thick with the included adjustable metal clamp. This frees your hands and provides a comfortable winding experience.
For best results, pair with the KnitPro yarn swift (sold separately) to speed up winding and help keep yarn neat and tangle-free.

Clamp the wool winder securely to a flat surface using the included metal clamp and tighten with the wing nut.
Place the large rubber band around the turntable and wooden pulley.
Thread yarn through the yarn eye at the top of the metal rod and then through the slots on the spindle.
Turn the handle slowly 3-4 times to start winding, then gradually increase speed for smooth winding.
When finished, carefully remove the yarn from the yarn eye and pull the skein from inside or outside as desired.
Keep yarn tension smooth to avoid loose loops or misshapen skeins.
