This luxurious viscose satin fabric is a smooth, lightweight material with a subtle satin sheen, giving it an effortlessly elegant and sophisticated appearance. Made from a blend of 50% viscose and 50% rayon, it offers the best of both fibers—breathability, softness, and fluid drape—making it a perfect choice for flowing garments.
With a weight of 150gsm and a width of 140cm, this fabric has a silky texture that feels wonderful against the skin, making it especially ideal for dressmaking, fashion design, and special occasion wear.

🧵 Cutting & Sewing: Use sharp fabric scissors or a rotary cutter to prevent fraying. Pin carefully as satin can shift while cutting.
🪡 Needles & Thread: Use a fine needle (size 70/10 or 80/12) to avoid snagging. A polyester or fine cotton thread works best.
🌀 Washing & Care: Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Avoid wringing to maintain the fabric’s smoothness.
🔥 Ironing: Use a low-heat setting with steam to remove wrinkles. Always iron on the reverse side or use a press cloth to protect the sheen.
✂️ Finishing Seams: Since viscose satin frays easily, use a French seam, pinking shears, or a serger for neat edges.
