The Faux leather was just the colour I had expected and very good quality.
I was a little concerned at first as I noticed that it wasn't cut straight. However the slanted part of the cut was just over 1 metre so,no worries . Phew!

However 100% cotton dogs and puppies fabric was terribly creased and needed a lot of pressing and damping then pressing to make it useable. It looked like it had been screwed up in a ball at the bottom of a bin.

The description of the product from this shop is incorrect. This fabric is NOT brushed cotton ‘flannelette’ quality, it’s more a garment texture/quality, more suitable for skirt/trouser. Don’t buy if you are looking for the soft warm fabric for pyjamas.
I made that mistake and it was left by the online shop as my fault for not checking a sample first. Not a great post-shop experience.

Transformation of stairs and entrance!
Having stripped and repainted my entrance, stair walls and corridor walls, I found myself in an unattractive factory type space.
So, I put up white narrow boards across the tops of the bare looking entrance window and half landing window, designed and made my own curtain poles and made finials made from small white drawer knobs.
Then I ordered samples and, having chosen the colour, 4 meter dark read 100% corduroy fabric from OhSewEasy, and made curtains for the two windows. I also built my own shoe bench, because none were available in the right size, and covered four never used (they were so ugly!) seat cushions with a washable cover made from the OhSewEasy dark red material.
As my friend told me: I had transformed our entrance area into an inviting cosy space!
My grateful thanks go to the staff at OhSewEasy who helped me through the (for me scary) process of ordering samples and 4 metres of fabric on the internet from them.
